A black comedy about killing people directed by Frank Capra. It was based on a stage play and the way the movie was filmed seems very stagy. Still it is a very good showcase for Cary Grant. He is frantically out of control the whole movie. The two old ladies, Raymond Massey, and Peter Lorre make a great backup for him. The only disappointing is the female lead. She is given nothing to do except watch. For me, this makes a less film than the Awful Truth or His Girl Friday.
Watch out for the Frankenstein comment. This was a inside joke for the stage play where Massey's character was played by Boris Karloff who played Frankenstein in the classic movie.
