One of the preverbal: they don't make them like this anymore. The 1956 Ten Commandments was one of the most lavish films made at the time. In this day and age of digitally adding people to the background of movies, it is amazing to think about all those people in the background were real.
Viewing it as a just a story about some guy, it has enough action and intrigue to capture attention. The bonus is the guy's story is a popular one which is good to know.
