4/25/20 Ball of Fire

"Ball of Fire" is a screwball comedy by Howard Hawkes who also did "Bringing up Baby". While the personalities of "Gary Cooper" and Barbara Stanwyck do not match the Incomparable Grant and Hepburn, the story is more interesting. While BRB is a series of incidents of Hepburn getting Grant is situations, BOF follows a more structure story. It could be due the writers Billy Wilder and one of his regular collaborators Charles Brackett.
