Ladyhawke is one of a number of fantasy films made during the 1980s. I consider this one of the best while "Legend" with Tom Cruise is one of the worst. Each of the main actors does one of their best roles. Mathew Broderick is the wise cracking thief. Rutger Hauer plays the gruff guy with a soft side and Michelle Pfeiffer plays a mysterious beautiful women.

One my favorite moments is when is the priest reveals the terrible thing he did and the pain of living with that one mistake everyday. That's something most people can relate to!
