9/15/18 The Great Train Robbery

Back in 2003 when I showed this movie, little did I know that two movie franchises would make more than fifteen movies on stealing stuff. The "Fast & Furious" franchise was all about stealing car. Hard to believe this video game concept supported ten movies with two more in production. It is hard to think of more unabashed male fantasy.

I was not impressed when the first "Mission Impossible" came out. The concept of a team of people with complementary talents was tossed out so Tom Cruise could be put front and center of all action. After seven movies, it still seems like a betrayal of the original concept.
