"Witness for the Prosecution" is a well made adaptation of an Agatha Christie novel of the same name. The story unfolds mostly told by witness in the murder case. There are no A list stars so the trial conclusion is not necessarily predetermined. Billy Wilder directs a well cast movie in Black and white which adds to the mood.
